Are you a current foster parent in Walton County? Welcome!
First, we want to thank you for opening your home and your heart to the children of our community; our most precious resource. Second, we want to help you! Let us get to know you, find out what your needs are and see if we can match our services to meet your needs!
Please view each area of ministry below and let us know how we can help. We look forward to meeting you and your family and hope to provide some support to you as soon as possible! You are making a difference and we see it. God sees it. Thank you!

SUPPORT GROUP
If you are a foster parent in Walton County then you need to know about our Foster Parent Support Group. Meetings are held monthly on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 6 pm. These meetings alternate between Freeport and Santa Rosa Beach. During these support group meetings, you will have the opportunity to meet and get to know other local foster families while receiving the necessary education hours to maintain your licensure. We always have guest speakers who are relevant to foster care needs. Please email us, to be added to the Support Group email contact list. We will email you information about the dates, times and topic of the upcoming support group meeting.

MEALS
Have you just taken in a foster child or children? Have you or your spouse fallen ill? We have volunteers who would love to support you by providing your family meals. Please email us and we can get started!

YOUR BLESSING
Several local businesses have partnered with PurposeOne:27 to encourage you through their care and support. Once we have you on our foster parent contact list we will ensure you receive gift certificates for things such as free meals, reduced costs of meals and services, free pedicure/manicure, photography services, and anything else that has been provided by our local business partners.

PRAYER
Foster parents often tell us they find comfort in knowing that someone is praying for them. We realize the physical and emotional toll that fostering can take on families and we believe in the power of prayer. Email your prayer request to info@purposeone27.org and you can be sure that we will be praying for you.

SUPPLIES
If you have taken in a foster child/children, you know that the state assistance does not cover all of the costs. Please email us. We will work with you to determine what supplies needs you have that we could assist with. Here are some items we see the most need for: diapers, wipes, clothing, linens for crib or toddler beds, shoes, school supplies, and coats. Sometimes we may have new or gently used items that have been donated, however, often we realize it may be easier to offer a gift card so that you can get the items of your preference.
